Hello Explorer’s! I’m Charlie and…where do I even begin?! How do I sum up for you, our
listeners, just how much Star Wars fills every single aspect of my life!

I’m a podcaster, cosplayer, collector and lifelong fan of that galaxy far, far away and ever sinceThe Phantom Menace was placed in my household VHS player when I was six, I’ve beenhooked.

I read Star Wars books, I have a Star Wars tattoo, I have multiple Star Wars costumes
and drink my morning coffee out of a Star Wars mug.

Speaking of the Phantom Menace, that is my favourite Star Wars film – well wait – I actuallyhave two. The Phantom Menace changed something in me, opened up a well of creativity and imagination I still use now. Every episode you listen to has a little bit of that magic! Anyway, my second favourite Star Wars film is The Force Awakens.

Which leads me on to the biggest way I express my love for Star Wars (and my favourite
character) – my cosplay. I cosplay Rey from Episode 7 – it’s a costume that’s taken years of work and community effort and now I am member of Saber Guild and proudly represent Lucasfilm, Disney and most of all Rey at events up and down the country. I also cosplay everyone’s favourite Space Mom, Hera Syndulla so if you can’t find the Rey buns, look for the green lekku!

You’ll always find me at a comic con – gathering together with friends and fellow fans and if
you’re quick, you can catch me running around with my arms full of Jar Jar Binks merch – when I say I’m a collector, I’m a collector of obscure, niche merchandise from the 1990s that features my favourite goofy Gungan.

Star Wars holds a deeply special place in my heart and getting to do this podcast with Jimmy and Jack has been an incredible experience that just keeps getting better and better!
